International Travel Medical Insurance

Whether you are a holidaymaker heading off for a much needed break, a student studying abroad, or traveling with a missionary group, you need to make preparations for how you will be looked after if you require medical attention. Travel medical insurance covers medical illnesses and/or accidents while you are traveling outside your home country. This coverage can begin as early as the day you leave on your trip.

It is important to note that travel medical insurance and trip cancellation insurance cover different things. Should your trip be cancelled or interrupted for a covered reason, a trip cancellation policy will reimburse you for the eligible pre-paid and non-refundable portions of your trip. Trip cancellation can also sometimes include some medical coverage. If you are looking for trip cancellation, check out your options here.
